2000: Mark Sikora had a breakthrough season for the Panthers in 2000...started 14 games after starting just six in his previous two seasons combined...played all 18 games...had career highs in goals (four), assists (two), points (10) and shots (32)...scored two goals in the first game of the season, a 5-1 win over Bucknell (Sept. 1), matching his entire 1999 total...also had a goal in a win over St. Francis (PA) (Sept. 6) and scored the game-winner in overtime against Providence (Sept. 17)...assisted on Clay Haflich's game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Canisius (Sept. 19)...also assisted Spencer Barton on a goal at Notre Dame (Sept. 29).

1998: Scored his first career goal in Pittsburgh's 7-3 win over Robert Morris on Sept. 9...netted two goals and an assist in a 6-2 victory over California (Pa.) on Nov. 3...played in 17 games and started two.

High School: Earned three letters in soccer at Cathedral Prep...tallied 62 goals and 38 assists in three seasons...received First Team All-Metro honors his senior year and First Team All-County honors his junior year...named the Offensive Most Valuable Player of the Prep Cup...named to the Clarence Tournament All-Star team...a Who's Who Among American High School Students...a member of the National Honor Society.
