PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh men’s soccer team (0-6-3, 0-5-1 ACC) will travel to Syracuse (8-4-0, 2-4-0 ACC) for a conference showdown at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12.

Pitt is coming off a 0-0 tie with Virginia Tech for its first ACC point.

For the year, Pitt has been led offensively by Ryan Myers who has four points on a goal and two assists. Chu Chu Onyeukwu, Zane Meehan and Kevin Murray each have two points on the year.

Dan Lynd has led the Panthers between the pipes ranking first in the ACC with 47 saves and a 5.22 saves per game mark.

Syracuse is coming off of a 3-2 loss at Boston College on Tuesday.

On the season, the Orange have been led offensively by Emil Ekblom who has 19 points on eight goals and three assists and Alex Halis who has 11 points on five goals and an assist.

Alex Bono has played all 1101:46 of action for the Cuse holding a 1.06 GAA with 38 saves and five shutouts.

This will mark the 19th meeting between the former Big East rivals with Pitt holding a 8-7-3 lead.
