PITTSBURGH – Coming off a pair of ACC ties last week, the University of Pittsburgh men’s soccer team (0-6-4) will welcome William and Mary (5-3-1) in a nonconference tilt on Tuesday, October 15, at 7 p.m. at Ambrose Urbanic Field. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3.
Pitt is coming off a 0-0 tie with Syracuse. In the tie, Dan Lynd had yet another impressive performance with 11 saves, resulting in his third shutout of the season
Lynd has led the Panthers between the pipes leading the ACC with 58 saves and a 5.80 saves per game mark.
William and Mary is coming off of a 1-0 win over the College of Charleston on October 5th. Their game scheduled for October 9th against UMBC was postponed due to weather.
On the season, the Tribe have been led offensively by Jackson Eskay and Chris Albiston who each have nine points.
Mac Phillips has played all 882:41 of action for William and Mary holding a 0.71 GAA with 32 saves and five shutouts.
This will mark the first meeting between the teams.
