Pitt Goes on the Road to Face Clemson

PITTSBURGH – Coming off a 2-0 loss to William and Mary, the University of Pittsburgh men’s soccer team (0-7-4) will head to Clemson (8-3-2) in an ACC matchup, October 18, at 6 p.m. at Riggs Field. The game will be streamed live on Tiger Cast.

Pitt is coming off a 2-0 loss with William and Mary. In the loss, Dan Lynd had yet another impressive performance with four saves.

For the year, Pitt has been led offensively by Ryan Myers who has four points on a goal and two assists. Chu Chu Onyeukwu, Zane Meehan and Kevin Murray each have two points on the year.

Lynd has led the Panthers between the pipes leading the ACC with 62 saves and a .785 save percentage.

Clemson is coming off of a 2-1 loss against Furman on October 15th.

On the season, the Tigers have been led offensively by Thomas McNamara and Ara Amirkhanian, who have six goals and six assists, and six goals and one assist respectively. 

Andrew Tarbell and Chris Glodack have split time in goal.  Tarbell has four shutouts, while Glodack has three.

This will mark the first meeting between the teams.
