Men's Swimming and Diving Extends its Lead in the Pitt Invitational

Adam Maczewski won the 100 back with a NCAA provisional finish.

2003-04: Jason Miller was the Panthers' top butterfly swimmer for the second consecutive year, earning the team's top times in the 100 and 200 fly events...earned four All-Big East honors for a total of six in his first two years...was part of three second-place relay teams and finished third in the 200 butterfly...just missed out on a fifth honor, placing fourth in the 100 fly...a Big East Academic All-Star.

2002-03: Miller swam one of the more exciting races for the Panthers in his freshman year and came out on top in the 200 fly for his first Big East Championship with a season-best time of 1:47.75...also competed and scored in the 100 fly for the Panthers at his first conference meet, placing fourth with a time of 48.65 seconds...also helped the 400 medley relay team to a second-place finish for his second All-Big East honor.

HIGH SCHOOL: Placed in the top ten at states in the butterfly and freestyle in his sophomore, junior and senior years...earned 100 Fly State Championship Title as a senior...was a four-time all-state honoree...also named first team All-American his junior and senior years...placed third in states with his water polo team his senior year at Cumberland Valley...also participated in volleyball, tennis and track.

PERSONAL: Born January 8, 1984...son of Bob and Nancy Miller...has four sisters...a history and sociology teaching major.
