PITTSBURGH - University of Pittsburgh sophomore diver Jeremy Stultz (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) recently competed in the U.S. Speedo National Diving Championships in Huntersville, N.C., August 9-13.

Stultz, the 2005 Big East Conference champion in the one-meter and runner-up in the three-meter event, competed in the one meter event at nationals and finished in 15th place with a score of 286.52 points.

"Jeremy is a very powerful diver who is well conditioned," said coach Julian Krug. "He continues to mature from his freshman year and we can expect him to be a formidable force at the NCAA level in the coming years."

Stultz continues to work on updating the degree of difficulty in his dives and is expecting to add the reverse three and one-half and inward three and one-half dives to his three meter list this upcoming season.
