Coach Harding continues a very successful career as the throws coach. In his two years of coaching, he has performed all of the facets to near perfection. He has done a great job recruiting and coaching. Both the athletes he inherited and recruited have performed extraordinary under his tutelage. He enters another season with aspirations to have the most dominant throws program in the Big East.

Junior Amanda Walker repeated as Big East champion in the Shot Put and improved to a second place finish in the 35lb weight and third place finish in the discus to be a top team contributor. She now owns four school records under his guidance. Freshman standout, Justin Clickett, entered the University of Pittsburgh being the 6th best High School Shot Putter in the United States and after a year he was the 6th best Junior Shot Putter in the World. Last summer Clickett represented the United States and the University of Pittsburgh in the World Junior Championship in Grossetto, Italy. He also rose to be the best Shot Putter in University of Pittsburgh history by breaking Coach Harding's outdoor record.

Coach Harding has had his own glorious experiences. He has competed on the National and International levels of track and field. He currently holds the school records in the Shot Put, Hammer and 35-pound weight throw. Coach Harding holds the Guyana National Records in all of the above mentioned events including the discus. He is also Pittsburgh's only Most Outstanding Field Performer in the Big East Championships. Coach Harding contributed over 50 points in the Big East Championships during his years as a Panther.

Coach Harding received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Management Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh.
