2011-12 Indoor: Placed sixth in the 60M (7.60) and second in the 800M (1:53.14) at the Golden Flash Gala...competed at the Penn State Relays with a first-place finish in the 500M (1:01.86)...finished first in the 200M at the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge running a 21.34 and seventh in the 60M with a time of 7.04...raced with the 4x400M relay team that set a new school record (3:07.33) and also broke the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge meet and Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track facility records with that time...finished seventh in the 400M at the Penn State National Open running a 47.40...finished seventh in the 200M at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational with a time of 21.62...at his first Big East Championship took the 200M dash title with a time of 21.16...also claimed the 500M title running 1:00.63 and set a new American Collegiate Record...placed fourth at the USA Indoor Championships in the 400M (46.16)...finished second, set a career best of 45.82 and claimed the school record in the 400M at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
High School: A decorated high school athlete, Spratling was the sectional, county and state champion in the 400M his senior season with a best time of 46.81 seconds...all-county in the 100 and 200M his senior season...transferred to Pitt from Eastern Michigan where he was the two-time MAC Champion in the 400M.
