Accolades: Broke own school record in hammer throw at Big East Outdoor Championships (56.32).

2012-2013 Indoor: Competed in the Penn State National in the men's weight throw 35 lb with a posted distance of 17.21 meters, placing sixth...Threw in the Akron invitational men's weight throw with a posted distance of 16.83 meters, a personal best.

2012-2013 Outdoor: Placed third in the men's discus and eighth in the hammer at the Charlotte 49er Classic...Set new personal and school record at Big East Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw with a distance of 56.32 meters, placing seventh.

Division II All-America in discus...discus personal best was 55.10M...hammer personal best was 54.39M...received Honors Award for having above 3.5 GPA.

High School: 2010 National junior champion for Canada...OFSAA champion...attended IAAF 2010 World Junior championships and had a personal record of 57.28M for his throw.

Personal: Born on August 6, 1991...son of Angie and Steven Wells...has three siblings, Athena, Sarah and Stephani...majoring in business management with a minor in computer science.
