FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The men’s 4x400 meter relay team of Micah Murray, Brycen Spratling, Olivier Philogene and Carvin Nkanata finished in 11th place on day two of the NCAA Championship Meet at the Randal Tyson Track Complex hosted by the University of Arkansas.
The Panthers ran to a time of 3:08.42. The NCAA meet capped off an impressive season for the team that set a Big East Championship Meet record with a time of 3:07.32.
Spratling and Nkanata achieved Second Team All-American status in the open 400 meter dash with their 10th and 16th place finishes yesterday on day one of the championship meet.
Arkansas won the 4x400 meter relay, and also won the overall men’s championship title on their home track. Florida finished second overall, followed by Wisconsin, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
The Panthers now turn their attention to the outdoor season which begins next weekend at the Charlotte 49.
