2010-11: Registered the third most wins on the team with 26-12 record...Qualified for NCAA Championships after winning EWL title...Defeated Donnie Jones (West Virginia) 6-0 in the finals of the EWL tournament...Pinned No. 10 Nick Heflin (Ohio State) in 4:36 and edged No. 18 Justin Zerrip (Michigan) 3-1 in overtime...Won the Clarion Open...Placed seventh at the Nittany Lion Open...Went 6-2 against EWL opponents...Tallied eight pins and had two major decisions.
2009-10: Redshirted the season, competing in two tournaments and compiling a 9-2 record...Won the Clarion Open at 174, going a perfect 5-0 in the tournament and defeating Hayden Harrison (7-5) in the final...Placed sixth at the Penn State Open, going 4-2 and picking up his fastest fall of the season at 4:21 against Owen Smith (Maryland).
2008-09: Posted a 26-16 record and earned his second straight 20-win season as a sophomore for the Panthers...Qualified for the NCAA Tournament at 165 pounds with an at-large bid after taking third at the Eastern Wrestling League championships...Tallied 11 bonus-point wins and eight falls on the year, cracking Pitt's top 15 career falls list...Went 5-2 at the Michigan State Open, including four straight wins to take fifth place...Went 4-1 with two falls at the Keystone Classic to take third place and help the Panthers to a second place team finish...Posted a 3-2 mark at both the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and Midlands Championships...Dropped his first round match at the EWL Championships 3-2 to Rob Michaels (Cleveland State) before defeating Michaels 4-2 to capture third place and secure an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships...Went 2-2 at the NCAA Championships including a 3-1 sudden victory win over Brandon Mason (Oklahoma State) and a 4-2 win over Jason Lapham (Roder).
2007-08: Enjoyed a breakout freshman season for the Panthers...One of three returning national qualifiers...Went 20-21 with 10 bonus-point wins on the year while picking up 16 tournament wins...Carded a pin in his first collegiate match over Jeff Havelka (Findlay) at the Eastern Michigan Open...Finished fourth at EMU Open...Went 4-2 with two first-round pins at the Brute/Binghamton Open to finish in sixth place...Went 2-2 at the Mat Town Open...Picked up first dual win over Justin Shannon (Findlay) 8-6 at the Ohio Duals...Took third place at the EWL Championships after going 3-1 with a first-round pin and a 10-0 major decision...Earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships where he went 2-2, scoring a 10-3 decision over Kurt Swatz (Boise State) and a first-round pin against Stephen Crozier (Air Force).
High School: Finished seventh overall at the Pennsylvania State Championships...Two-time section champion at Waynesburg under coach John Yates...Two-time WPIAL runner up...Also a soccer star...Nominated as the team's Most Outstanding Player during his junior and senior year.
