2013-14: 18-11 record as the Pitt starting heavyweight...qualified for nationals for the second time after a fourth-place finish at the ACC Championships...tallied three falls and two major decisions...3-2 record in ACC duals...beat No. 15 Austin Marsden from Oklahoma State by a 3-1 decision in the final match of the dual to help the Panthers upset the No. 5 Cowboys on criteria points...named ACC Wrestler of the Week on Jan. 21, 2014 because of that clutch upset of Marsden...won the Clarion Open to begin the season.
2012-13: Went 21-7 during his junior season winning matches at 174, 184 and 197 pounds...bumped up to 197 pounds and defeated Edinboro's Warren Bosch, 9-2, to help Pitt win its final EWL dual...wrestled a pair of duals at 184 pounds winning both by pin fall...won the Franklin and Marshall Open and Edinboro Opens at 174 pounds.
2011-12: Earned one of the most improbable bids of anyone at the NCAA Championships, bumping up three weights to heavyweight and placing third at the EWL Tournament...clinched his spot to the national tournament with three straight wins at the conference championships, including a 3-1 decision in sudden victory over No. 26 Quintas McCorkle (Clarion) in the consolation final...likely would have been the top seed at 174 pounds at the conference tournament after going 3-0 in EWL dual meets during the season, including a 4-1 decision over No. 23 Mike Dessino (Bloomsburg)...bumped up to 184 pounds in the Panthers' win over Hofstra and upset No. 11 Ben Clymer, 2-1...placed second at the season-opening Buffalo Open, advancing to the finals with a 3-2 decision over Nate Brown (Lehigh) in the semifinals...went 7-1 against EWL opponents, with the lone loss coming via a 1-0 decision to Edinboro's Ernest James, a national qualifier at heavyweight...posted a 13-10 overall record and registered two pins and one major decision on the year...received the team's Ironman Award, given to the wrestler who displays commitment and perseverance through adversity for the benefit of the team.
2010-11: Finished with a 14-7 record...placed second at the Clarion Open with a record of 3-1...took fourth at both the Michigan State Open and the National Collegiate Open...went 3-0 against EWL opponents...had two quick pins on the season, one in 30 seconds and the other in 22 seconds.
2009-10: Finished his freshman year with a 3-5 record...in his first match as a Panther, recorded a 6-4 victory in the 174-pound class over Patrick Brady (Buffalo) at the Buffalo Open...dropped to the 165 division where he picked up victories over Justin McCrillis of Clarion (7-2) and Matt Rigoglioso of Rutgers (5-4)...placed fourth at the Wilkes-Barre Open...runner-up in the Fila Junior Freestyle Nationals...participated at the Junior World Team Trials at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo...served as a camp counselor for the 2010 Pittsburgh Wrestling Club Camp.
High School: Won the Pennsylvania freestyle and Greco state championships...posted 35 victories and five losses as a senior...compiled a career record of 112-49...a two-time Class AAA state qualifier, finishing 5th in 2009...two-time third place WPIAL finisher...won the section championship once and was a finalist three times...finished fifth in Belle Vernon history in all-time wins...captured the Tri-county and Brockway Big Dog championships...a three year captain...also a two-time member of the Pennsylvania Fargo and Dual teams...NHSA National All-Academic team in senior year and two-time PA all-academic team honorable mention selection...received the BVA Athletic Inspiration Award...participated in soccer and baseball, earning all section honors in both.
