Career: 97-36 record with 23 pins, the 23 pins are 11th on the all-time list at Pitt...a 2013 All-American...three-time NCAA qualifier (2010, 2011 and 2013)...two-time EWL champion in 2011 and 2013...EWL runner-up in 2009 and 2010.

2012-13: Finished with a 29-4 record and earned All-America honors with a fifth place finish at heavyweight...won matches over Levi Cooper (Arizona State), Mike McClure (Michigan State), Jeremy Johnson (Ohio), Odie Delaney (Citadel) and Jarod Trice (Central Michigan) at the NCAA championships...Won his second EWL title with a 6-3 decision over Bloomsburg's Justin Grant...a three-time EWL Wrestler of the Week...lead the team with 12 pins on the season, a mark that ranks tied for sixth in school history...nine of Thomusseit's wins by fall have come in the first period...has a perfect 4-0 record against EWL foes with all four wins coming by fall...finished second at the 2012 Midlands Championships...scored a match winning pin in overtime, at 8:49 against Virginia Tech's David Marrone, to give Pitt an 18-16 win over the No. 11 Hokies.

2011-12: Took a medical redshirt after suffering a season-ending injury...before the injury, he helped Pitt notch a big win over No. 6 Michigan, defeating No. 12 Ben Apland with a takedown in sudden victory...wrestling at heavyweight for the first time, won the season-opening Buffalo Open with a decision over No. 23 Ernest James (Edinboro) in the finals...rolled to a 12-6 decision over No. 21 Peter Capone in a dual meet against No. 6 Ohio State...went 7-2 and was ranked as high as No. 17 before being shut down for the season.

2010-11: Posted a 24-4 record and qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second straight year, earning the seventh seed...won first two matches at nationals, defeating Matt Casperson (Boise State) 10-2 and 10th-seeded Logan Brown (Purdue) 3-2...won first career EWL title with a 6-4 win over Shawn Fendone (Edinboro)...went 3-0 to win the Clarion Open...won the Nittany Lion Open with a 5-0 record...won seven matches and finished third at the Midlands Championships, edging Brent Haynes (Missouri) in the consolation final...went undefeated against EWL opponents (6-0)...tallied bonus points in nine matches with three pins and six major decisions.

2009-10: Was part of the anchor to Pitt's lineup as a sophomore, finishing 22-10 for the Panthers...received an at-large bid into the NCAA championships, going 2-2...recorded victories over Nick Knowles of Liberty, 8-0 and David Craigh of Lehigh, 4-0 at the NCAA's...finished second at the EWL Championships, falling only to Patrick Bradshaw of Edinboro in a tightly contested 3-2 decision...recorded seven falls with the quickest at 2:30...went 3-1 at the Buffalo Open recording two falls and taking second place...went 15-4 in dual meets on the season.

2008-09: Posted an 18-16 record in his first year while wrestling at 184 pounds for the Panthers...placed in four tournaments, including a runner-up finish at the EWL Championships...started the season with a fifth-place finish at the Eastern Michigan Open, going 4-2 on the day and earning his first collegiate win with a 14-3 major decision over Erich Smith (Michigan)...placed second at the Michigan State Open with a 3-1 mark and notched his first collegiate pin in the opening round of action...went 3-3 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, placing eighth and helping the Panthers to their best-ever team finish (4th)...went 2-2 at the Midlands Championships...tallied a fall in the semifinals at the EWL Championship meet.

High School: Enters Pitt as a three-time Ohio state medalist, finishing in fourth place in 2007 and 2008 and sixth in 2005...compiled a 144-42 career record at Saint Paris Graham under head coach Jeff Jordan...recorded 42 wins and just three losses in his senior season...led school to2008 national team championship and four state team titles...two-time place winner at the prestigious Ironman tournament, earning third in 2008 and sixth in 2007...named to the all-area team in his junior and senior years...served as class treasurer...member of the National Honor Society.
