PITTSBURGH-The No. 23 Pitt wrestling team will host EWL opponent Edinboro Saturday Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in both teams' final dual match of the 2007-08 season. With Wednesday's 23-15 victory over Clarion, the Panthers remain undefeated in conference action as they stand at 13-3 overall and 5-0 in the EWL.

Edinboro (9-3, 4-0) will host West Virginia tonight, before traveling to the Fitzgerald Field House tomorrow. The Fighting Scots enter the back-to-back dual matches ranked No. 14, while Pitt holds a No. 23 ranking. Edinboro leads the all-time series with the Panthers at 13-6.

Senior All-American, Matt Kocher (State College, Pa./State College), will endure a tough match-up with last year's National Champion, junior, Gregor Gillespie at 157 pounds. Kocher will look to bounce back from his unexpected loss to Clarion's Travis Uncapher by a score of 7-6 earlier this week.

No. 1-ranked, Keith Gavin (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) hopes to protect his flawless record of 25-0 when he faces No. 17 ranked Phil Moricone at 174 pounds.

Zach Sheaffer (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley), Jimmy Conroy (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield), Drew Headlee (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg) and Ethan Headlee (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg) all tallied big wins against Clarion for the Panthers and look to continue their contributions this weekend.

With Saturday's match marking the Panthers' final dual event of the season, Pitt will honor its senior wrestlers prior to the start of the match.
