Pitt Great Gavin Wins 84 KG Title at U.S. World Team Trials

Stillwater, Okla. – University of Pittsburgh great Keith Gavin swept Clayton Foster (6-4, 3-2) to capture the 84 kg title at the U.S. World Team Trials this evening at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

With the victory, Gavin earns his first U.S. World Team berth and will don the Red, White and Blue singlet this September at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Gavin was a two-time All-American and 2008 National Champion during his tenure with the Panthers.
