Attended Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, N.J., for three years ... averaged 21.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as a senior ... also averaged 2.1 blocks in 19 games for the Argonauts her final scholastic season ... twice named a Courier News All-Area selection (2012 and 2011) ... averaged 11.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks as a junior ... named Most Valuable Player of the Somerset County Tournament ... played at Rutgers Prep for head coach Mary Klinger, the twin sister of Pitt associate head coach Patty Coyle ... prior to her arrival in the U.S., attended Edwin Allen Comprehensive High School in her native Jamaica ... was a member of the Jamaican U16 netball team and the U14 netball squad ... netball is a game popular in the Caribbean, which involves seven players per team as they attempt to get a ball into a basket without a backboard.
