High School: Jenean Ford was a three-year starter at Thornwood High...led her team in points and rebounds as a junior and senior...during her senior campaign averaged 12.9 points and 9.0 rebounds...earned all-state honorable mention honors three times...a three-time all-conference and all-area selection...led her team to a 26-5 record last season and the state quarterfinals, marking the first time a girls team in her district qualified for the finals...her teams also captured two conference, two regional and three sectional championships...also an accomplished track and field athlete... qualified for the state championships four years in a row...placed in the top three finishers in the 1,600-meter relay four times, including a first-place finish as a senior...finished second in the 800-meter relay this past year and was seventh in the high jump...is pictured on her school's wall of fame 10 times for qualifying for the state championships, marking the most for any male or female at Thornwood.
