JUNIOR SEASON (2009-10)
Taneisha Harrison filled the scoring void left by All-American Shavonte Zellous, leading the Panthers in scoring 12 times during the season...tallied seven 20-point efforts en route to averaging a team-high 12.9 ppg...was the only player to log over 1,000 minutes of playing time, seeing 32.4 minutes per game...had a team-high 38 steals...named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll...scored a career-high 27 points against Valparaiso (Dec. 8)...also set a career-mark for field goals made and attempted, nailing 11-of-22 shots against Valparaiso (Dec. 8)...logged a career-high 42 minutes at Austin Peay (Dec. 20)...knocked down a career-high six free throws and hauled in a career-best nine rebounds at Providence (Jan. 23)...hit a personal-best four three pointers twice; against Florida (Nov. 20) and against Seton Hall (Feb. 20).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09)
Taneisha Harrison appeared in all 33 games, starting 13 during her sophomore season with the Panthers...played 38 minutes off the bench in Pitt's opener against No. 10 Texas A&M, scoring 12 points and adding five rebounds...scored 16 points and added a season-high seven rebounds against Youngstown State...recorded a career-high 12 assists in Pitt's 29-point victory over No. 8 Maryland... scored 17 points against Wagner...contributed 13 points, six rebounds and three assists off the bench in a two-point victory at Syracuse...hit 7-of-11 field goals for 15 points against Marquette...came off the bench and scored a season-high tying 17 points in a victory over Notre Dame.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2007-08)
Named to the Big East All-Freshman Team..Played in all 35 games on the year and started four...contributed strong minutes off the bench in the win over #13 WVU -- scored eight points and had three steals...earned a start at Marquette and added three points and two rebounds in 28 minutes...grabbed a season-high eight rebounds...came off the bench to score 13 in Pitt's win over Seton Hall...led the Panthers with 18 points in the win over Louisville...dished out a season-best five assists and scored seven in Pitt's win at Cincinnati...scored 11 off the bench in Pitt's win over Syracuse...had an outstanding game at Wagner scoring 23 points in just 21 minutes...she surpassed her previous career high of 12 points in the first half alone with 13 points...played 31 minutes in her start against Duke at the Maggie Dixon Classic in Madison Square Garden...earned her first career start against Harvard...one of Pitt's most aggressive players at Maryland, scoring six points in 20 minutes...scored 11 points in 25 minutes in the win over Arizona...played her first collegiate action against Charlotte scoring three points and adding three rebounds.
Taneisha Harrison helped St. John's College High School to a IAABO Girls Invitational Tournament Championship as a freshman, a Dell Curry Tournament Championship as a sophomore and a Bishop Walsh Invitational Girls Championship as a sophomore....Owned a career field goal percentage of 68 percent...Averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a senior on her way to being named a Third Team All-Met...the 6-0 guard earned WCAC third team all-conference honors as a sophomore and WCAC second team all conference honors as a junior...Harrison was also a co-high scorer in the Bishop Walsh Invitational Girls Tournament and was named Honorable Mention All-Met by the Washington Post...as a starter in her junior season, Harrison averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists per game...Harrison was invited to attend the adidas Top Ten Camp as a sophomore...a member of the 2005-06 Fairfax Stars Nike Elite Travel Team, finishing second place in 2005...in the 15U division, Harrison advanced with her team to the AAU Nationals...in 2004 she received the United States National Physical Education Award with a 3.0 GPA.
