Pitt used its sixth different starting lineup of the season. Sophomore Asia Logan earned the first start of her career.
Pitt scored a season-high 83 points - the most since 94 scored last season on Dec. 31, 2010 in a win over Central Michigan.
The Panthers tied a season-high with 19 assists. Pitt previously had 19 assists earlier this season against Loyola.
Pitt reached a season-high with 12 steals - Ashlee Anderson had a career-best six steals in the contest (topping previous high of four).
Abby Dowd had a career evening with career-highs in points (23), 3-pointers (7). Field goals made (8), field goals attempted (12). She also tied a season/career high with two assists
The seven (7) 3-pointers drained by Dowd are a program tying record. She is the first person since 2002 to knock down 7 three-pointers, lastly accomplished by Haley Harguth on Jan. 15, 2002. Harguth connected on seven 3's in a game twice in the Pitt record book and two others (Erin Maloy and Lorri Johnson) also achieved the feat, respectively in 1992 and 1990.
Brianna Kiesel had a career-high nine assists. She scored 11 points, her 12th double-digit game of the season.
Ashlee Anderson recorded 19 points, her seven double-figure game. Anderson added four assists for the second time in the past three games. She has four or more assists in seven games.
The Blue Demons took a 6-4 edge in the all-time series by winning their third-straight in the series.
The Panthers shot 51.6 percent, its highest field goal percentage of the season and best since last season in the Big East Tournament versus USF (.553).
