*Pitt improves to 2-1 on the season and moves to 3-0 all-time against Loyola (Md.).
*The contest was the 800th of head coach Agnus Berenato’s career. She holds a career record of 429-371.
*Sophomore Marquel Davis scored a career-high 17 points, her first career double figure outing. She also collected a career-best five rebounds. Fifteen (15) of Davis’ 17 points came over a five minute span in the second half.
*Sophomore Kyra Dunn recorded her first career double-double. She scored in double figures for the first time in her career with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and six blocks.
*Dunn registered six blocks were a Petersen Events Center Pitt individual record.
*Redshirt sophomore Leeza Burdgess scored in double figures for the first time this season with 10 points. She tied a career high in assists for the second game in a row (3)
*Six Pitt players had two or more assists in the game. The Panthers had five players with at least one steal.
*The Panthers scored 31 points off of Loyola turnovers, the most tallied by a Pitt team since December 16, 2008 in a 98-41 win over Wagner (36).
*It marked the first time since Feb. 19, 2011 (against West Virginia) that four Pitt players tallied double figures (Dunn, Dowd, Davis, Burdgess), Pitt only had one player in double figures last game (Anderson).
*Ashlee Anderson had five assists, the most since Jan. 26, 2011 at Syracuse (six).
*The Panthers trailed to start the contest and grabbed the lead at the 10:40 mark of the first half and never relinquished it. They led by as many as 21 points.
