Women's Basketball Hosts Providence on Saturday Afternoon

    THE GAME

    Pittsburgh attempts to snap a two-game losing streak and notch its first Big East win of the season as it hosts Providence on Saturday afternoon at the Petersen Events Center. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m.

    The Panthers are coming off back-to-back Big East-opening losses to West Virginia and Syracuse. The Friars are also 0-2 in the conference after suffering setbacks to nationally ranked Virginia Tech and Boston College in the past two weeks.
