Last year the Panthers played in front of a capacity crowd at the Petersen Events Center, marking the "Largest Women's Basketball Game in Pittsburgh's History." This year the Panthers take on Notre Dame in an exciting Big East match-up as we attempt to once again "PACK THE PETERSEN." Don't miss all of the excitement, as this has become one of the most celebrated and anticipated women's athletic events of the year! All Panthers fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for only $1.00 for the most exciting event of the season!

Tickets:

Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis.  You may purchase as many tickets as you would like (until we sell all 12,500, of course).

 

For the Notre Dame game only, all tickets are $1.00 for youth (18 and under) and adults (Note: Youth will not be admitted without a $1.00 ticket to ensure seats for everyone)

 

Game tickets for the Pittsburgh vs. Notre Dame game can be purchased on-line, by faxing in the “Pack the Petersen” order form, or by contacting the Pittsburgh Panthers Ticket Office at 800-643-PITT (7488) or 412-648-PITT (7488).

            Monday – Friday (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Travel:

Event parking will be available for $3.00 in the OC, TV, and KF lots.  Event parking will also be available for $4.00 in the OH and SO lots. 

 

Physically disabled parking is available in the Biomedical Science Tower (BST) located at the corner of Darragh Street and Terrace Street and the OH lot.

 

The remaining lots are reserved for University Staff permit parking.

 

Parking lot locations can be viewed by accessing the Petersen Events Center parking map.  All parking lots will open at 12 Noon.

 

If your school or organization plans on bringing a bus to the game, you MUST contact Kate McCulloch in the Pittsburgh Ticket Office at 412-648-8305.

 

Free shuttle service will also be offered for this game at the Petersen Events Center. Buses will begin operating 3 hours prior to tip-off and will remain operating 15 minutes after tip-off.  All stops are marked with a sign!  Shuttles will stop at the following garages:

 

  • Soldiers & Sailors (Bigelow Entrance)
  • O'Hara Garage (on O'Hara)
  • Kaufmann Garage (stop is on Fifth Avenue inside the driveway)  

Shuttle service will operate to the above garages for approximately 1 hour after the game.  Operation after the game depends on the number of people taking the shuttles.  Shuttles will be parked on Terrace in front of Scaife Hall.

 

To get to Petersen Events Center from the Tower View parking garage, take the garage elevator to level S (Which Is the Cost Center Sports Complex Level). Upon exiting the elevator onto level S, proceed down the hallway towards the main entrance of the Cost Center, which is also the entrance to the OC Lot. Petersen Events Center is located directly in front of the OC Parking Lot on Allequippa Street.
