THE GAME Pittsburgh looks to snap a three-game losing streak as it hosts No. 6/7 Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon at the Petersen Events Center. Game time is set for 2 p.m. as the Panthers are hosting their third annual "Pack the Petersen" event as all tickets for the game are just $1. Pittsburgh is attempting to register its first-ever victory over the Fighting Irish as it trails the all-time series 0-14. The Panthers also hope to notch their first win over a ranked opponent this year, falling to Rutgers (No. 4/7), Connecticut (No. 9/10) and Boston College (No. 13/14). Notre Dame is riding a five-game winning streak entering Saturday’s game, having defeated four ranked opponents during the stretch. Most recenly, the Fighting Irish beat Boston College, 64-57. ALL-TIME SERIES Pittsburgh and Notre Dame meet for the 15th time on Saturday with the Fighting Irish leading the all-time series, 14-0. Notre Dame leads the all-time series in Pittsburgh, 7-0, defeating the Panthers 72-68 last year at the Petersen Events Center as a part of the second annual "Pack the Petersen" event.
