PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh women's basketball team hits the road for a Big East Conference clash with No. 3-ranked Notre Dame University on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m.
Pitt (12-9, 1-7 Big East) is coming off an 87-80 overtime loss to Syracuse on Feb. 2 in Pittsburgh. Shayla Scott scored a career-high 21 points and added 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the year.
Notre Dame (20-1, 7-1 Big East) has won five straight since its first loss of the season to Connecticut back on Jan. 16. The Irish return home following a two-game road trip, having beaten Syracuse and Rutgers.
The Irish hold the edge in the all-time series, 17-3, but the Panthers have won the last two and three of the last four games, including a postseason win at the 2007-08 Big East Tournament.
