PITTSBURGH - The No. 23 Pitt women's basketball team will travel to Marquette Saturday night for an 8 p.m. EST contest against the Golden Eagles. The Panthers enter the game at 18-7 overall and 8-4 in Big East play, while Marquette is 14-12 and 6-7 in league action.

Marquette leads the all-time series with Pitt 3-1 and is 2-0 in games played in Milwaukee. The Panthers' victory came in a 91-87 overtime win last season at home against No. 16 Marquette, giving head coach Agnus Berenato her first victory at Pitt over a ranked team.

Pitt's rough road continues as they face five top 25 teams in seven games. Although Marquette is unranked, they are tough on their home court with an 11-2 home record including just one loss in Big East play - a four-point loss to No. 5 Rutgers.

Pitt's game at Marquette can be heard live on www.pittsburghpanthers.com as a part of Panthers All-Access or locally on FOX Sports Radio 970 AM with Greg Linnelli and Jen Tuscano calling the action. For those in the Milwaukee area, the game will also be a televised broadcast on Time Warner Cable.
