PITTSBURGH – Season tickets for the 2012-013 University of Pittsburgh women’s basketball season are on sale.
The Panthers have 18 home games this season with season tickets starting at $50 for adults and $20 for youths and seniors (50 and over). A family plan is available for $110 (two adult, two children).
Season ticket holders also receive special benefits, including a meet and greet with the team, an opportunity to be a guest coach, and an invitation to a pregame ‘chalk talk’ with head coach Agnus Berenato. Season ticket holders are also entitled to two Panther Club Priority points (for active member), as well as several other advantages.
A four-game Mini Package, which allows fans to buy two tickets to four different games, is also obtainable for only $20 (games can be chosen after the schedule is released).
The Panthers host NCAA Championship runner-up Notre Dame this season, along with post-season participants DePaul and Georgetown. Pitt will also entertain Big East foes Cincinnati, Marquette, Providence, Villanova and USF at the Petersen Events Center. The entire schedule will be released in early September.
Admission is free to all University of Pittsburgh students, Pitt and UPMC Faculty & Staff with a valid Pitt or UPMC ID.
The deadline to submit the 2012-13 Women’s Basketball season ticket renewal application and mini-package form is Sept. 7.
