AS A FRESHMAN (2008)
A veteran on the vault and floor after her first year with Pitt...Also competed sparingly on the uneven bars...Carried a season average of 9.452 on the vault and 9.439 on the floor exercise...Scored a season-high 9.575 on vault twice, at George Washington and against UNC, Cornell and Temple...At No. 14 Denver and Texas Women's Universty, picked up a season-high mark of 9.775 on the floor.
Brewer took second in the floor exercise at the Junior Olympic National meet in 2006 and trained in the summer at the United States Olympic Training Center...member of the 2006 Level 10 National team, where she captured second in the all-around competition...also claimed second-place in the floor exercise, third on the vault and third on the beam as a part of the national team...named the 2004 Level 9 National Champion after claiming first-place in the all-around competition, tying with Shannon Vafiadou...member of Geddert's Twistars from 2003 to 2007.
