AS A JUNIOR (2009)
Bryan is coming off an NCAA Regional appearance on the vault, where she was ranked in the nation's top 25 most of the season...All-EAGL First Team on vault and Second Team on floor...EAGL All-Tournament second team on vault...Earned EAGL Specialist of the Week honors after setting a career-high score on bars and tying for first on vault...Won the event five times during the year and finished second four times...Tied a season-high mark of 9.900 at West Virginia and at Utah State...Carried a 9.838 vault average...Holds three of the top five scores in Pitt history on vault...Had eight top-10 finishes on bars, including a career-high 9.800, third-place finish against Maryland...Finished in the top three on floor five times, setting a career-best mark of 9.875 at West Virginia, finishing in second place...Posted four of the top vault scores in Panther history, now giving her eight of the top 10...Named to the All-EAGL Academic Team.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2008)
Enters the 2009 season coming off an achilles injury which sidelined her just over midway through the season...named All-EAGL Second Team on vault...before suffering season-ending injury, Bryan held a 9.694 average on the vault with a season-high of 9.850 at Michigan State and against West Virginia...tallied a season-high score of 9.700 at George Washington to go along with a 9.334 average on the uneven bars...carried a 9.242 average on the floor with a season-high mark of 9.850 coming at Ohio State... named to the All-EAGL Academic Team.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
Dani Bryan made an immediate impact on the Pitt gymnastics team, winning the league title on the vault in just her first season...scored a 9.900 for the win at the EAGL meet...earned All-EAGL First Team honors on the vault and second team honors on the floor exercise...won the vault competition four times throughout the season and also one floor exercise title...named EAGL Specialist of the Week on March 6...competed as an all-arounder on six occasions, scoring a career-high 38.825 at Arkansas...scored a career-high 9.925 on the vault and a 9.750 on the uneven bars against Missouri, a 9.725 on the balance beam at Arkansas and a 9.850 on the floor exercise at NC State...named to the All-EAGL Academic Team.
Bryan was a 2006 Junior National Team member after placing fourth at the junior national championships...runner-up at junior nationals on the vault and floor...invited to train at the Junior National Training Camp in Colorado Springs in 2006...a junior national competitor in 2003, 2004 and 2006, placing in the top 10 on the floor exercise and vault every year...won the vault, placed second on beam, third on floor and fourth in the all-around at Level 10 regionals in 2006...the 2006 Maryland AA state champion...received the W.E.B. DuBois Academic award and was a National Merit Scholarship qualifier...a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll.
