PITTSBURGH-Sophomore Diandra O'Connor, senior Raya Mullin and sophomore Alyse Zeffiro competed in the Missouri State Farm Cat Classic Individual Championship after qualifying for event finals on Friday evening.

O'Connor (Owasso, Okla./Owasso) made the final cut on three apparatuses and placed fourth on the balance beam with a 9.8 score and fifth on the vault with a 9.775, tying a career high. She also competed in the floor exercise and finished in ninth place with 9.15 points from the judges.

Mullin (Runnemede, N.J./Triton) finished in 12th place on the uneven bars with a score of 9.6 but fell twice on the balance beam and placed 10th with a score of 8.475.

Zeffiro (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem) qualified for the vault finals and finished in a tie for eighth place with a score of 9.75 points.

Pittsburgh returns home to face Rutgers, James Madison and Wilson College on Saturday at Trees Hall. The meet will begin at 7 p.m.
