PITTSBURGH - The Pitt gymnastics team saw the competition floor for the first time this season in their annual Blue-Gold exhibition meet in which they hosted Kent State.
No team scores were recorded on the afternoon, but the Panthers saw some outstanding performances from their newcomers.
For Pitt's second rotation, youth again ruled as sophomore Bri Hogan took second, Sedgewick was third and Soto finished in third.
To round out the day on floor, Sedgewick was the Panthers' lone representative in the top three with a clean performance.
Soto finished second in the all-around competition, while Sedgewick was close behind in third.
Pitt begins the regular season on Jan. 11 with a 7 p.m. meet against West Virginia at Fitzgerald Field House.
