Pitt's gymnastics team returns home on Saturday for a 1 p.m. meet with East Atlantic Gymnastics League opponent, New Hampshire, at Fitzgerald Field House.
The Panthers are coming off a road win over No. 25 Michigan State and have started the season 2-0 on the year and 1-0 in EAGL action. Pitt's matchup vs. UNH will be broadcast live on ESPN3 with Kat Ghion and Erica Coffey on the call.
"Once again we're probably looking at a close competition against New Hampshire, a team that's traditionally been about the same level as us," said head coach Debbie Yohman. "These are the kind of meets that reveal the character of your team, how focused they are, how competitive, how much they want to finish the job. We think we've got a really strong lineup and we've put in a quality week of work -- now it's up to the athletes to do the right things to produce the results we want."
Three gymnasts will be looking to extend their streak as senior Brittney Harris has won the vault title in each meet this year while senior Katie O'Rourke has won the beam title twice and sophomore Lindsay Offutt has won the floor title twice as well.
