COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Pitt senior co-captain Andrea Arlotta broke the school record for most career points with 1,531.330. She surpassed the previous mark in tonight's East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championships after an all-around score of 39.025.

Arlotta (Cincinnati, Ohio/Northwest) entered this weekend with a career total of 1,492.325. She passed up Robyn Senior who had a career total of 1,526.450 from 1994-97. Arlotta hit every event this evening and won the uneven bars title with a 9.900. She was an All-EAGL first team selection on the vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around this year.

This season, Arlotta's won six uneven bars titles and was a five-time floor exercise champion. She also won the all-around twice and was a three-time EAGL Gymnast of the Week.

Throughout her career she's won 10 first team All-EAGL honors and four second team honors. She was additionally an EAGL All-Academic team member.

Arlotta still has the NCAA Regional Championships remaining this season and is also looking to make her first trip to the NCAA Championships, giving her two more meets to top this career total.
