CAREER: Played in 53 career games (36 starts) wth one assist as a defender.

2004: Served as co-captain with goalkeeper Jamie Pelusi...started all 17 games on the year...important anchor in the Panther defense... made immense contributions to a school- record five shutouts on the season...named a Big East Academic All-Star.

2003: Romasco was the team's captain and emerged as a vocal leader...started all 17 games for Pittsburgh...contributed key performance in the Panthers' first Big East win in two season against Georgetown (Sept. 26)...helped limit top-ranked Notre Dame to just one goal (Oct. 19)...named a 2003-2004 Big East Academic All-Star.

2002: Played in all 19 contests and started 12...finished with one assist for one point and one shot...tallied first career point on an assist that gave the Panthers the lead in a 3-2 victory over Virginia Commonwealth (oct. 20).

2001: Transferred to Pittsburgh from George Mason University, but she did not play with the Patriots.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-section honoree for three seasons, all-WPIAL for two years and the team Most Valuable Player in her junior year for Moon Area High School...playe on the Pennsylvania State Olympic Development Program Under-14 to Under-18 teams and a regional ODP player in the U-15 league...served as captain of the Beadling Soccer Club that won state championship in 2001...competed on Moon's track and field teams and one of the team's top relay runners...National Honor Society member.

PERSONAL: Born July 6, 1983...daughter of Dean and Denise Romasco...has one brother...graduated in three years with a marketing degree from Pitt.
