CAREER: Abby Baldys is one of the most experienced players on the Pitt roster with 52 games played and 51 starts over her three-year career with the Panthers...has tallied four assists and 17 shots as a defender...was named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll on Oct. 18, 2010.

2011: Appeared in 15 games, including starts in 14...tallied five shots and one shot on goal

2010: Started all 19 games as a sophomore...finished third on the team in assists (3) while adding nine shots including five on of the most athletic players on the squad, racking up 1750 minutes of playing time...named to the Big East Honor Roll on Oct. 18...described by Coach Chin as a "mainstay in the backfield" throughout the season...named a Big East Academic All-Star.

2009: Appeared in and started all 18 games as a of six Panthers to start every game...played key role in Pitt's backfield that limited opponents to 11 goals in 18 games and registered a school record 10 shutouts...ranked second on the team with 1726 minutes played on the a defender, completed season with one assist, one point and three shots...tallied first career assist in 1-0 win over Kent State (Sept. 4)...named a Big East Academic All-Star.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of South Williamsport High School in South Williamsport, Pa...led her team to the Pennsylvania state championship, Eastern Regional and district championship in 2006...guided South Williamsport to three Mid-Penn Conference championship titles (2005-2007) and two district runner-up finishes in both 2005 and 2007...First Team All-Conference selection in 2006 and 2007...named the Mid-Penn MVP and an All-State honoree in 2007...unable to compete her senior season due to injury...over her three-year varsity career, scored 23 goals and 51 assists...selected to be a member of the PA East ODP Team in 2008...member of The Soccer Training Network (STN Marauders)...guided her club team to the Ukrainian National Invitational title in 2007 and March Madness Tournament crown in 2008...led the Marauders to a Regional finish in 2008...selected to compete at the Players Development Academy (PDA)... served as President of her school's National Honor Society chapter...named Valedictorian of her graduating class.
