CAREER: Established herself as the leader of the Pitt defense, starting all 39 games of the first two seasons of her college career. She was named to the All-Big East Rookie Team and was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com "100 Freshman to Watch" list in 2010. In her two seasons, she has tallied five shots, including two on goal.
2011: One of just four players to start all 19 of the Panthers' games...helped lead the Pitt defense to a shutout in a 1-0 win over Delaware (Aug. 28)...took lone shot of the season, in season opening 2-2 tie with Eastern Michigan (Aug. 19)...named a Big East Academic All-Star.
2010: As a freshman, started all 20 games for the Panthers in 2010...a solid defender, she led the team with 1,834 minutes played...named to the All-Big East Rookie Team as well as TopDrawerSoccer.com "100 Freshman to Watch" list...tallied four shots including two on goal...named a Big East Academic All-Star.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Moon Area High School in Moon Township, Pa...led her team to three section championships...led her squad to the WPIAL quarterfinals in her senior season...led her team to the state title game in her freshman season...three-year captain of the Beadling Cup traveling team and six time state champions...named a top 20 player in Pennsylvania by TopDrawerSoccer.com...finished fourth all-time in career points at Moon with 184, including 64 goals and 56 assists...led Moon to a 74-11-4 combined record in four years...earned All-Section and All-District honors three times, and All-WPIAL twice...named to the 2009 Pittsburgh Tribune-Review All-Star team, and the 2008 and 2009 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette West All-Star team...selected to the 2009 All-state Pennsylvania team...ranked among the top-10 WPIAL goal scorers in 2007-08...was a member of ODP PA West from 2006-2009, and served as captain in two of those years, and ODP invite to Developmental camp...earned a four-year Scholar Athlete Award...member of the varsity track and field team and the National Honor Society at Moon.
PERSONAL: Born May 28, 1992...daughter of Craig and Beje Keefer...has two younger siblings: Matthew and Hayden...mother, Beje, played soccer at UNC-Wilmington and her father, Craig, played baseball at University of Pennsylvania...enrolled in the College of Business Administration.
