2000: Kappler started nine games at defender and played in 17 in her first season with the Panthers...started the last seven games of the season, including five against Big East opponents...had a total of five shots for the season, three of which came against Sacred Heart (Oct. 13)...a University Scholar-Athlete and Big East Academic All-Star.
