Women's Soccer Hosts Providence in Season Finale

Abby Baldys, Danielle Benner, Ashley Cuba and Kristina Rioux play their final game at Pitt on Sunday vs. Providence at 1 p.m.


Women's Soccer Wins 2-1 Decision Over Connecticut

Alex Charlebois scores a career-high two goals as first-year head coach Greg Miller registers his first Big East victory.

CAREER: Three-time Big East Academic All-Star selection.

2011: Took over as the full-time starter and played in 17 games (15 starts)...logged 1,475 minutes in goal, the most of any Pitt goalie on the season...recorded 100 saves with a .763 save percentage...posted only shutout of the season for the Panthers in a 1-0 win over Delaware (Aug. 28)...posted some of the best numbers in the Big East, ranking first in the conference in saves and second in saves per game (5.88)...named a Big East Academic All-Star.

2010: Did not see any game action...named a Big East Academic All-Star.

2009: Did not see any game action...named a Big East Academic All-Star.

2008: Did not see any game action...redshirted season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Joined the Panthers as a goalkeeper from Montreal, Quebec...attended Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep school in Minnesota...named the team MVP at Lower Canada College in 2003, 2005 and 2006...led her team to the Under-16 Quebec Bronze Cup...named the 2006 Athlete of the Year at Lower Canada College...member of the Athletic Honor Roll...named the MVP of her ice hockey team in 2006...was a top five player and GMAA Semifinalist in Rugby.
