High School: Was an all-conference and all-area defender at Kentwood High School...recorded a career-high 10 goals and 25 assists as a junior...had nine goals and 20 assists as a freshman...was injured during her sophomore season and most of 1999, scoring one goal and four assists in two games of her final season...played three years of club soccer for the Grand Valley Premier which won three league championships and eight tournaments...scored three goals and 15 assists in one year with the Great Lakes Premier...also an All-American (honorable mention) and all-conference swimmer and a volleyball team captain...honored as an academic all-state selection...also earned the conference's Scholar-Athlete Award...served as the school's vice president...a National Honor Society student.
