2000: Risch saw action in 12 games at the defender position in her first collegiate season, starting three games against Penn State (Sept. 1), Seton Hall (Sept. 22) and Notre Dame (Sept. 24)...had a total of five shots for the season and a season-high two in a 1-0 loss to Richmond (Aug. 27). High School: Risch helped lead the best defensive effort by Redmond High School in three years, allowing just six goals by opponents in 1999...earned All-League Honorable Mention as a midfielder in 1998 and as a defender in 1999...scored 10 goals and eight assists during her three-year high school career...in four years of club soccer, she recorded 25 goals and 35 assists...played seven years for the FC Elite, while placing second (1999), third (1997) and fourth (1998) in the state...a member of the FC Royals in 2000 that placed third in the state...a two-year member of the Washington Olympic Development Program team and a 1997 Regional Pool player...honored as a three-time Distinguished Scholar-Athlete...also played basketball and helped her team to second-place finishes in the league and the district, as well as a ninth-place showing in the state.
