AUBURN, Ala.-- The Pitt women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to host Auburn (2-1-1) to fall to 2-2-0 on the season.

 

Ashley Marks scored two goals for the victorious Tigers, while Monica Afanador scored the third. Caitlin King assisted on two of the goals.

 

The Panthers had a total of 12 shots, with 10 coming in the second half. The Tigers had 15 shots with 12 on goal. Alison Finch (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) had a total of eight saves.

 


 

 

The Panthers will return home to Founders Field on Friday, Sept. 14, when they host the Xavier Musketeers at 7 p.m.
