    BETHLEHAM, Pa.-  The University of Pittsburgh women’s soccer team lost to Lehigh 2-0 Friday night on the first of two road games for the Panthers this weekend.

     

    The loss drops the Panthers to 2-2 overall. Lehigh improved its record to 4-1 overall. 

     

    Freshman Gina Lewandowski scored both goals for the Mountain Hawks.  Lewandowski’s first goal came  off a left corner rebound shot at the 3:35 mark. In the 53rd minute Lewandowski booted a pass from 25-yards out past Pittsburgh goalkeeper Jamie Pelusi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton).   

     

    The Panthers are 1-1 all-time versus the Mountain Hawks. Their first meeting was 3-0 victory during the 2002 season.

     

    Pittsburgh’s next game is Sunday at 1 p.m. at St. Francis (Pa.).
