COLLEGE PARK, Md.--The Pitt women's soccer team will conclude its season when it travels to Maryland for a Thursday match at 7 p.m.
Pitt (4-13-1, 0-12-0 ACC) enters its final game following a 6-3 loss at Duke. Sophomore Roosa Arvas leads the Panthers in points (seven), while junior Alex Charlebois is the team's scoring leader with three goals. Senior Dana DelleFemine leads the team in ACC goals (two) and ACC points (five). Freshman Taylor Francis has started the last five matches and has registered 29 saves in 497 minutes played on the year.
Maryland (9-9-0, 5-7-0 ACC) has outscored its opponents 31-24 on the year. The Terps are led in scoring by Hayley Brock, who has amassed 24 points on 10 goals and four assists in 16 matches played. Ashley Spivey (15 points/six goals) and Lauren Berman (11 points/three goals/five assists) also are key contributors for Maryland.
Pitt plays Maryland for the first time in women's soccer history.
