2008: A National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Louisville Slugger All-Mid Atlantic Region second team selection, Sam Card was also named to the All-Big East first team and the ECAC Softball All-Star second team...holds the single-season batting average record (.390)...tied for best single-season RBI total (44)...went 3-for-4 at bat with one run, RBI and a stolen base against Texas-Arlington in the FIU Tournament...scored the winning run of the Virginia Tech game after advancing to first base on a single to right field...caught two defenders attempting to steal against Morehead State in the Longwood Leadoff Classic...smacked her first homerun of the season against Western Kentucky...went 3-for-3 with four runs, RBI and six putouts against Rutgers...was 2-for-3 with two homers and six RBI in the Youngstown State contest...recorded a double, triple, two RBI, two runs, four stolen bases and was walked four times in the Louisville doubleheader...went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and a home run in the second Seton Hall game...tallied a career-high 12 home runs on the year and ranks second overall on the single-season list...was intentionally walked, which led to scoring the winning run against No. 23 DePaul...called the no-hitter against Connecticut...led the team with a .679 slugging percentage, stole 19 bases and started all 55 games played in.

2007: Card started all 58 games at first base...tallied a team-high six home runs...posted 23 RBI...led the team with 395 putouts and a .990 fielding percentage...stole 10 bases on the year...was 2-for-4 in the first Prairie View A&M contest and recorded two RBI...went 2-for-3 in one game against College of Charleston...posted a season-high nine putouts against both Central Florida and South Carolina...blasted her first home run as a Panther, recorded three RBI and four putouts in the Winthrop win...tallied a sacrifice fly to allow the Panthers to score in their win against St. Francis...recorded the first hit of the game against USF with a lead-off double to right center field...drove in two runs and scored another in the Seton Hall victory...hit her team-leading sixth home run as the leadoff batter in the second inning against Robert Morris.

AT FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY: Card started all 50 games as a freshman...recorded 23 RBI and a .362 slugging percentage in 138 at-bats...posted 37 hits and 16 runs on the season...ranked third in the Sun Belt Conference in doubles for the season.
