Savannah King Sets Single-Season Record For Wins

2012: Four-year letterwinner at second base...collected a start in 203 games during her career...posted 85 runs, 133 hits, 16 homers and 72 RBI in four seasons...registered a .967 career fielding percentage with 400 putouts and 431 assists...consistent defender with a team-leading 111 assists her senior year...ranked among the Big East top five for assists on the year...named to the James Madison Days Inn Invitational All-Tournament team after going 3-for-3 with a home run in a win against Fordham (March 17)...recorded multiple hits in four games during her senior year...blasted a triple in Pitt's 7-2 victory over Penn State (April 3)...scored the game-winning run in a 3-1 win over Robert Morris (May 2).

2011: Started every game at second base for the third straight year...compiled career highs in batting average (.280) and hits (37)...smacked triples against Florida Atlantic (February 26) and East Tennessee State (March 12)...drove in a season-high three runs during the final homestand against Villanova (May 7)...ranked fifth on the team in runs scored (21)...posted a .963 fielding percentage with 105 putouts and 79 assists...recorded a putout or assist in all but one game this season...boasted a .357 batting average in Big East play...smacked a career-high eight doubles on the year, including three during the Rutgers series...scored the winning run in the upset over then No. 17 Georgia Tech.

2010: Started all 52 games for the Panthers at second base...swiped a team-high and career-best 14 bases...also posted career-highs in putouts (114) and fielding percentage (.967)...ranked second on the team in walks (20)...tallied eight multi-hit games on the year...scored a season-best three runs against Fairfield (Feb. 28) and Maine (March 14)...had a career-high 11 putouts against Fairfield on February 28...registered her first home run of the season against Fairfield (Feb. 28)...batted .583 in the Tar Heel Invitational... named to the Tar Heel Invitational All-Tournament team...tallied six assists against Penn State (April 6)...had a season-best three stolen bases against Syracuse (May 1)...collected 12 putouts in the Villanova series, including two games with five apiece...scored the winning run against Maine (March 14)...drove in the winning run against Robert Morris (May 5).

2009: One of five freshman starters...played in all 49 games at second base...finished second on the team in RBI (25), doubles (7) and triples (3)...recorded her first career home run against Long Island...had a hit, a run and an RBI against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi...recorded career-highs in single-game plate appearances (5), runs (2), hits (3) and home runs (2) against Charlotte...defensively, she recorded 98 putouts and 126 assists with a .966 fielding percentage on the season.

High School: Led her team to a district championship and the 2006 state semifinals...first team all-state honoree in 2008 and second team all-state selection in 2007...two-time all-district and region team member...two-time All-Tidewater recipient...voted a two-time team MVP.
