2011: Amanda Heitmeier appeared in 20 games, starting nine...serves as a designated hitter and backup catcher...recorded two hits in three at-bats versus Georgetown (March 20)...smacked her first career grand slam against in the first game of a doubleheader against Seton Hall (March 26)... that homer mark the first time since 2006 two Panthers hit a grand slam in the same season due to teammate Yvette Bravo's earlier in the year...had two hits against Seton Hall in game two (March 26).

2010: Heitmeier hit a career-high nine doubles which was second on the team...started in 44 games for Pitt and had a career-best 134 plate appearances...hit a double and drove in two runs against Robert Morris...had a career-high five plate appearances against Villanova...drove in the winning run against Youngstown State (March 24)...scored the winning run against Villanova (April 3) and Robert Morris (May 5).

2009: Heitmeier led the team with a .318 batting average in Big East play...drove in two runs with a double against Robert Morris...was able to score off of several sacrifice hits in the home opener vs. Georgetown...scored the Panthers' only run against Providence in the first game of a doubleheader...had her first stolen base of the season against Connecticut...recorded a career high two hits vs. DePaul.

High School: Heitmeier was the starting catcher for three years at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Ga., before earning the start at Peters Township when she transferred her senior year...earned all-region first team honors in Georgia....named 2005 Outstanding Defensive Player and 2006 Offensive Player of the Year...recorded a region-best batting average of .615 as a sophomore...also lettered in golf and placed 12th at states...a member of Model United Nations Club.
