2011: Karlyn Jones set the single-season and rookie record with a 1.57 ERA over 80.3 innings pitched...held the best record for a freshman pitcher after 10 decisions at 8-2...ranked second in single-season win percentage (.615)...collected four of the Panthers record-breaking 14 shutouts... entered the game in the sixth with runners on the corners, and gave up just one hit and struck out three in 1.2 innings to earn her first career win against Florida International (Feb. 18)...earned the win over then-No. 17 ranked Georgia Tech (Feb. 19) after retiring all five batters faced in 1.2 innings of relief..tossed both her first career complete game victory and first career shutout against Florida International (Feb. 20)...named to the Big East weekly honor roll after holding a perfect .000 ERA in 13.2 innings, while walking one and striking out seven others (Feb. 28)...collected a career-high 12 strikeouts against Penn State (March 29)...suffered a season-ending injury against Louisville...drove in three runs and smacked both a double and triple at the plate during the season.
