2005: Leanne McCarron played in 23 games, making two starts as a freshman...served as a vital pinch runner...went 1-3 and drove in a runner against Morgan State...a member of the Big East Academic All-Star team.

HIGH SCHOOL: McCarron hit .491 at Interboro High School with a .542 mark in her junior year...helped lead her team to four straight Delaware Valley championships, as well as PIAA Regional playoff appearances...received all-county honors in 2003 and 2004, as well as all-league honors all four seasons...a two-year captain, she led the county in home runs with six and RBIs with 27 in 2003...participant on Pennsbury Gems for one year and helped team to ASA 2004 Pennsylvania state championship in the 18-and-under class...seven-year member of DELCO-Pony team, earning a state championship in 2003...received 2003 Pony Pennsylvania state "Tournament MVP" honors...lettered for two years in field hockey, leading the team as captain in 2004...three-time Delaware Valley champion for field hockey...was student council president and yearbook editor at Interboro...National Honor Society member for three years...PA 7th Congressional District Scholar-Athlete in 2003-04.
