2000: Amy Steich started all 48 games for Pittsburgh on her way to being named to the All-Big East Second Team...led the Panthers in batting average against Big East opponents with a .349...batted a career-high .226 overall...also recorded career highs with 13 runs, 28 hits and six RBI...was third on the team in sacrifice bunts with six...scored twice, doubled, and drove in a run in an 8-2 rout of Villanova (4/20/00)...a University Scholar-Athlete.

1999: Started 50 out of the 51 games she appeared in...tied for the most stolen bases on the team...had seven sacrifice hits...played in all 16 conference games...scored the Panthers' first run against Princeton, leading them to a 5-1 victory.

High School: Earned 10 letters in softball, basketball and soccer...named an all-county and all-section selection in both softball and basketball...a member of the WPIAL state runner-up team...a student council officer and honor roll student.
