2004: Thomas played in 43 games as a sophomore and made 39 starts in the outfield and third base...hit .208 to improve her batting average 52 points from her debut season...played in 15 of 18 Big East contests and was second on the team with a .265 average against conference opponents with nine hits in 34 at-bats...went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in the doubleheader vs. Rutgers (April 4)...had three multiple-hit games, two of which came against Big East opponents...a Big East Academic All-Star.
2003: Thomas finished her first season with 17 hits, two doubles, one triple, one home run and six RBIs...started 42 of 46 games she played in the outfield...landed her first career home run against Sam Houston State (2/15)...notched a key double in the Panthers' sweep of Syracuse...had just three errors in 30 chances...a Big East Academic All-Star.
HIGH SCHOOL: Thomas was a member of the four-time district championship team at Southlake-Carroll High School...held a career slugging percentage of .505, helping her team to the regional finals in 2001 and state semifinals in 2002...a three-time academic all-district selection...first team all-district as a senior...also honored twice as a second team all-district selection...selected to the Dallas-Fort Worth Star-Telegram All-Star area team...awarded most valuable player honors at the Gold DeSoto Tournament...also competed in volleyball at Carroll...member of the National Honor Society.
