PITTSBURGH – Due to near freezing temperatures over the past couple of days in Pittsburgh, there have been time changes to this weekend’s softball series with St. John’s which will allow the grounds crew more time to prep the field for competition.
Saturday’s doubleheader which was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. will now start at 3 p.m. Sunday’s game was supposed to begin at Noon, but has been pushed back two hours for a 2 p.m. start.
The Panthers (11-12) open Big East competition this weekend in eighth place after the nonconference schedule. St. John’s (6-20-1) is currently in 12th place.
